About the role:

The Senior GBS Transformation Lead, reporting directly to GBS Excellence Director, plays a critical role in driving strategic transformation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across the end-to-end Supply Chain organization. This role partners with senior leaders, functional experts, and global teams to design and deliver complex initiatives that improve planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, customer service, and overall supply chain performance.

In this role you will be is responsible for identifying improvement opportunities, leading large-scale transformation programs, and ensuring sustainable adoption of new processes, technologies, and ways of working. This leader will help shape the future of the Supply Chain function, driving efficiency, agility, digitalization, and business value creation across the organization.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end supply chain transformation initiatives across planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, customer service, and related operational areas.
  • Identify opportunities to improve supply chain performance, service levels, operational efficiency, cost optimization, and customer experience.
  • Define project scope, objectives, success criteria, and measurable business outcomes in collaboration with senior stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource requirements, and budgets.
  • Drive program governance through effective progress tracking, reporting, risk management, and milestone delivery.
  • Analyze current-state supply chain processes, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and design future-state operating models.
  • Lead process standardization, harmonization, and continuous improvement initiatives across regions and business units.
  • Support digital transformation and automation initiatives, including planning and implementation of supply chain technologies and analytics solutions.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively resolving issues that may impact project delivery or business objectives.
  • Manage project scope, resources, and priorities through established governance frameworks.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to Supply Chain leadership on transformation priorities, roadmap development, and change initiatives.
  • Build strong partnerships with stakeholders across Supply Chain, Operations, Commercial, Finance, IT, and Global Business Services.
  • Facilitate clear and transparent communication across all levels of the organization.
  • Prepare and deliver executive presentations, project updates, business cases, and performance reports.
  • Lead change management activities to ensure successful adoption of new processes, systems, and capabilities.
  • Support teams through organizational and operational changes by building engagement, capability, and commitment to new ways of working.
  • Stay informed on emerging supply chain trends, digital technologies, and industry best practices to drive innovation and competitive advantage.

 

About you:

  • 8+ years of experience leading transformation, continuous improvement, or large-scale change initiatives within Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, Logistics, or Consulting environments.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex cross-functional transformation programs with measurable business impact.
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes.
  • Experience with supply chain operating models, process optimization, and performance management.
  • Project management experience; PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent certifications are considered an advantage.
  • Experience with Continuous Improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate insights into action.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills in an international environment.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to drive alignment and motivate teams through change.
  • Experience supporting digital transformation initiatives, ERP implementations, automation, analytics, or advanced planning solutions is highly desirable.
  • Self-driven, proactive mindset with a strong focus on results and continuous improvement.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability and willingness to travel (~30%).
