About the role:

The Senior GBS Transformation Lead, reporting directly to GBS Excellence Director, plays a critical role in driving strategic agenda, operational excellence, and cross-functional transformation across the Global Business Services (GBS) organization. This role partners with senior leaders, functional experts, and global teams to deliver complex initiatives spanning Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and other enterprise areas. The Senior GBS Transformation Lead ensures that transformation programs are designed, executed, and embedded successfully to deliver measurable business impact.

In this role, the Senior GBS Transformation Lead ensures that transformation initiatives are executed with excellence, aligned with strategic goals, and delivered with sustainable adoption across the organization. This leader shapes how GBS evolves, driving continuous improvement, process efficiency, and business value creation.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of GBS transformation projects across multiple functional domains, including Finance, Supply Chain, and HR.
  • Define project scope, objectives, success criteria, and key deliverables in collaboration with senior stakeholders.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource models, and budget requirements.
  • Manage program governance including progress tracking, reporting, risk mitigation, and milestone delivery aligned with PMO standards.
  • Prepare business processes for transformation by assessing current state, identifying improvement opportunities, and documenting future-state requirements.
  • Support automation initiatives by defining solution requirements and ensuring operational readiness.
  • Identify potential project risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and execute structured risk-response plans.
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, resources, and costs through established governance frameworks.
  • Act as an escalation point for project-related issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Build strong relationships with senior leaders across local business units, countries, and GBS hubs to ensure alignment and engagement.
  • Facilitate clear, timely, and transparent communication between key stakeholder groups at all stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Present project updates, status reports, and performance insights to senior management and executive stakeholders.
  • Deploy and manage a structured change management framework to drive awareness, readiness, and adoption of new processes and solutions.
  • Lead change management and end‑user adoption activities to ensure successful realization of program outcomes.
  • Support teams in navigating organizational change, addressing concerns, and building commitment to new ways of working.

 

About you:

  • Master’s degree in business administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Economics, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or related fields (with concentration in Finance, Operations, or Supply Chain)
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in a similar position (Transformation Manager/ Project Manager) in an international SSC or BPO environment.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
  • Experience in project management; formal certifications, e.g. PMP, PRINCE2 are a plus.
  • Continuous Improvement methodology, such as Lean or equivalent are considered an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with global and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent presentation, analytical and leadership skills, ability to motivate others.
  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Excellent negotiation & influencing skills with the ability and confidence to operate at senior levels with both internal and external stakeholders, as well as strong conflict management skills 
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment and deliver within agreed deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound decision-making capabilities.
  • Self-driven, independent and proactive mindset with a strong “can‑do” attitude.
  • Stays informed on emerging technologies and market trends relevant to GBS and digital transformation.
  • Role requires ability and willingness to travel (~30%).
