About the role:

The FP&A Senior Analyst coordinates and performs financial controlling and planning duties related to Western Europe and CEE Cocoa, including the main reporting entity in Zurich (CH10). He/she delivers timely and accurate standard and ad-hoc management reports with variance analysis and comments based on data available in various systems (e.g., BW, BOFC). This job gets guidance and support from the Finance BP WE Cocoa and works closely with the accounting teams.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Analyzing and reporting of financial results of CH10 and other WE Cocoa entities.
  • Supporting month-end close of CH10.
  • Support Senior Manager FP&A WE Cocoa and Finance BP for WE Cocoa in complex financial topics like Mark-to-Market valuation and portfolio evaluation.
  • Ensure cost effectiveness, drive financial and operational transparency, and support performance optimization.
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and mid-term planning of CH10.
  • Ensure strong partnering will all finance functions in below levels (local), as well as with other divisional functions (HR, CSD, QA,…).
  • Working on various ad-hoc finance projects (e.g., business case calculation, process improvement, tool development, accounting reviews, etc.).

 

About you:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in finance, accounting, or a similar field.
  • 7+ years of prior work experience in the field of finance/controlling/FP&A.
  • Knowledge of finance tools (SAP and related: BW, BOFC, Tagetik, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting and financial reporting structure (important asset).
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Knowledge of the key performance indicators that drive the organization's assessment (working Capital, cash management, direct profit, EBIT, ROIC...).
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to effectively link the financial reporting issues with the underlying related economic and financial facts.
  • VBA, PowerQuery, PowerPivot, or PowerBI would be an advantage.
  • English business proficiency.
  • Previous exposure to commodities is a plus.
  • Previous role in a regional position is a plus.
