About the role:


The prospective candidate plays a consultant role to the business, harnessing accounting, financial, and risk data to deepen business understanding and influence the decision-making process for the EMEA sourcing team. 

This requires a deep mastery of the diverse, complex EMEA landscape, and strong multifunctional partnering skills with EMEA FP&A, Risk Management, SSC R2R team, and IM/IT team.
This position is responsible for furnishing analyzed information in a structured manner - assessing historical and current business performances to formulate business forecasts and highlighting areas of opportunity for the Sourcing Finance Business Partner to prioritize and construct business plans. The position will be further tasked with identifying process optimization and improving financial data integrity alongside delivering actionable insights to the EMEA Sourcing team.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Business partner for the CEE Region Sourcing.
  • Supporting the Sourcing Team on tasks relevant to the Actual Regional P&L i.e. calculation of Trading profits, Portfolio Analysis, Customer P&L for all Choco ingredients (Cocoa and Non-cocoa), and Indirect Spend.
  • Actively assisting the Finance BP and Sourcing Team through Budget & Forecasting cycle preparation.
  • Data upload in the planning system.
  • Compiling management reporting for Regional Sourcing lead and related presentations (i.e. internal quarterly reviews).
  • Data visualization activities: i.e. 
    • Risk and physical positions against agreed limits on specific commodities, ensure limit compliance;
    • Weekly sales book;
    • Purchase price variance;
    • Profit margins analysis;
  • Driving Trading Business results recognition and perform any related support and analysis.
  • Support Sustainability Reporting and Analysis for all ingredients in the region.
  • Ad hoc analysis.
  • Safeguarding Processes and procedures within Sourcing (Internal Control).

 

About you:

  • Higher education: Bachelor in Accounting or Business Administration (Finance); Master's degree will be a plus.
  • 6+ years of finance experience preferred commercial experience developed in physical soft commodities trading/food processing industry. 
  • Experience with finance controlling, risk positions, and derivatives management across multiple EMEA markets.
  • Required Strong analytical skills supported by very strong capabilities in MS Office & SAP R/3, B/W & B/O, and Analytics systems i.e. Power BI.
  • Detail-oriented - The ability to manage big datasets and ensure the accuracy of reports is a key consideration for this position.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, strong collaboration skills.
  • Organizational agility.
