About the role:

We are currently looking for candidates to fill the position of Senior Sustainability Certification Analyst and join our team. We are providing internal and external sustainability volume reporting supporting our company’s sustainability commitment. In particular, you will manage the monthly reconciliation process, directly support our customers on questions regarding the reporting, as well as represent the team during audits. Ad hoc tasks could include building new reporting from scratch and investigating any visible changes to the report’s outcomes while maintaining clear documentation. The tasks of our team are an important requirement of different sustainability programs (e.g. Rainforest Alliance, UTZ, Fairtrade) and are key for BC to reach its Forever Chocolate goal. 

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Execute reconciliations for the month-end volumes between internal and external systems.
  • Further expansion of existing and developing additional reports as per certification standards and internal requirements.
  • Active preparation and participation in external sustainability audits, conducted to obtain, extend or renew certificates.
  • Prepare month-end reports on sustainable inputs and outputs of sales organizations/plants.
  • Manage online portals, including but not limited to:
    • verification of all incoming transactions, follow up on missing credits
    • upload outgoing transactions 
    • uptate internal files accordingly
  • Investigate and respond to internal queries related to sustainability reporting.
  • Close cooperation with various departments (such as Quality, Commercial, Customer Service, Finance, and Master Data) to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Provide all necessary input to enable correct communication and feedback to customer queries.

 

About you:

  • University degree in economics or business administration or similar educational background.
  • Experience of 5-7 years in a corporate environment, preferably in data management (financial or non-financial data).
  • Experience in working with Power BI tools and creating Dashboards.
  • Experience in leading, and taking part in audits internal or external.
  • Experience in data reconciliations.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is indispensable.
  • Accuracy and an analytical mindset are key for this position.
  • Solution-oriented with a passion for data integrity and process improvement.
  • Experience with interactions with all departments within the organization, communication skills, and stakeholder management are crucial.
  • Proactive problem-solving.
  • Project management skills would be an advantage.
