Key responsibilities:
- Become the digital product owner for our corporate traceability solution, particularly in the area of EUDR.
- As such have a thorough understanding of traceability in the end-to-end process from buying cocoa from farmers till the selling of chocolate to customers.
- Stay abreast of the latest changes in the regulation at local and European level.
- Act as a sparring partner to the Global Process Owner on business side, function as the bridge between business experts and system engineers.
- Support the development of a clear vision and strategy for digital sustainability & traceability that aligns with the direction set by the Director of Digital Cocoa & Sustainability and business objectives while driving customer engagement and revenue growth.
- Work with sustainability teams and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for digital sustainability projects; translate these requirements into actionable user stories and product specifications.
- Work with business stakeholders to analyze and understand business requirements to design technical solutions for sustainability that meet those needs, acting as the bridge between business experts and system engineers.
- Leverage their expertise in digital traceability to enhance data quality, streamline workflows, and create detailed business analysis, ensuring they meet organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including digital, sustainability, and data analytics, to design and implement digital sustainability & traceability solutions that meet business requirements and optimize campaign performance.
- Recommend improvements to business processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Act as the primary point of contact for digital traceability projects.
- Cooperate closely with the application management team implementing, maintaining and operating applications.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of digital traceability initiatives, using data and analytics to assess effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous optimization.
About you:
- Graduate degree in IT/technology, data, business administration, or comparable field.
- Proficient in English.
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant working experience.
- Keen interest in digital sustainability, traceability, and processes, digital sustainability best practices, as well as tools (e.g. SAP Sustainability Control Tower, Salesforce Sustainability Cloud) and regulation.
- Advanced knowledge with business analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SWOT analysis, BPMN, UML).
- Familiarity with project methodologies (both waterfall and agile) as well as agile product management (e.g., using JIRA).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret data and draw insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to present to diverse audiences.
- Willingness to learn and try new technologies and topics.
- Ability to instruct employees and guide the solving of non-routine problems.
- Exhibits a passion for digital technology and innovation, constantly seeking new and creative solutions to enhance processes, decision-making and user experiences.
- Collaborates well across diverse and globally distributed teams, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships across different levels and functions of the organization.
