About the role:

 

Barry Callebaut Digital (BC Digital) is on a mission to lead the digital revolution in the chocolate industry, and we're looking for a Senior Business Analyst focused on Sourcing to lay the foundation for software development and solution designs for our digital sourcing products. Reporting to the Head of Sourcing, you will be a key point of contact to advise and support internal customers in formulating and concretizing their requirements and the creation of digitally enabled sourcing solutions. You will be responsible for defining and executing strategies that enhance our digital sourcing capabilities, optimizing procurement processes, and driving cost efficiencies through data-driven insights. You will work closely with sourcing teams, technology partners, and stakeholders to deliver impactful digital sourcing solutions that align with our strategic goals.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and articulate a clear vision and strategy for digital sourcing that aligns with the direction set by the Director of Digital Sourcing and business objectives while driving customer engagement and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate and support business stakeholders to articulate, challenge, and refine and understand business requirements to design technical solutions for sourcing that meet those needs; translate these requirements into actionable user stories and product specifications.
  • Leverage their expertise in digital sourcing to provide guidance to cross-functional teams including digital, sourcing, and data analytics to enhance digital sourcing solutions.
  • Analyze procurement data to provide actionable insights and recommend improvements to sourcing processes; Develop and maintain sourcing dashboards and reports to track key performance metrics and supplier performance.
  • Oversee and ensure effective testing processes, including the design, planning, execution, monitoring, and continuous improvement of testing activities to validate digital sourcing solutions.
  • Act as a functional matter expert for digital sourcing projects and manage escalations in daily operations and projects.
  • Cooperate closely with the application management team implementing, maintaining and operating applications.
  • Guide and mentor others, and inspire to pursue a joint agenda.

 

About you:

 

  • Graduate degree in IT/technology, data, business administration or a comparable field.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience as an SAP MM business analyst.
  • Extensive knowledge in digital sourcing / procurement processes and best practices, as well as tools (e.g. SAP Sourcing and Procurement, Salesforce Cloud, Coupa).
  • Solid understanding of SAP MM integration with FI/CO, Logistics and Sales, including cross module troubleshooting.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in SAP MM configuration, including Procurement, Inventory Management and Invoice Verification and understanding cross modules interdependencies.
  • Proven capability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and challenge them constructively; experience producing Business Blueprints, Functional Specifications, interface documentation (eg: IDOCs, APIs, flat files), and user training materials.
  • Proven track record of driving cost savings and process improvements through data-driven strategies.
  • Extensive expertise in business analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SWOT analysis, BPMN, UML).
  • Profound knowledge of project methodologies (both waterfall and agile) as well as agile product management (e.g., using JIRA).
  • Independent, self-driven personality with strong ownership and accountability.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies, experiment, and adopt innovative ways of working.
  • Ability to instruct employees and guide the solving of non-routine problems.
