About the role:
The FP&A (Senior) Analyst performs reporting activities and in-depth financial analyses within SG&A area in order to provide quantitative, analytical information and comments to Finance Business Partners as well as the Management for strategic and tactical decision–making. FP&A Analyst aims to ensure efficient, standardized and high-quality reporting / analysis in accordance with FP&A guidelines, principles as well as standards. This job gets guidance and support from FP&A Manager/FBP and process stakeholders (e.g. FP&A Director, other FBPs, functional leaders etc.) on complex activities, ad hoc requests, and key issues in the execution of duties.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and overlook monthly & quarterly reporting and analysis for the own scope (proper cost allocation, accruals etc.).
- Perform variance analysis, contact various reporting units/functions in the group and challenge if their figures are completely and accurately reported as well as to understand their performance.
- Perform meaningful, consistent and comparable analytics as well as reports related to SG&A of the BC Group and on various reporting levels (Group, Region, Function etc.).
- Support in ad hoc financial and non-financial analysis and preparation of business case inputs.
- Actively participate in the budgeting and forecasting process.
- Support the reporting automation projects (e.g. PBI dashboards creation/improvements, etc.).
- Be a point of contact for internal customers (ownership of servicing diverse stakeholders regarding reporting inputs, issues, queries and updates).
- Support ad-hoc, time-sensitive analysis requirements.
- Ensure proper reporting: guide entities on procedures and guidelines; share best practices; drive improvements.
About You:
- University degree in economics, finance, business administration, math or similar.
- At least 4-5 years in corporate reporting/controlling/shared services center of a multinational industrial company (experience in food manufacturing or commodities is a plus).
- Fluency in English (both spoken and written).
- Knowledge of finance systems and business intelligence tools (SAP, BOFC, BW, Analytics Cloud, EPM).
- Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- VBA, PowerQuery, PowerPivot or PowerBI would be an advantage.
