About the role:
The Sales Support & Sales specialist, Cocoa GCA’s role is part of the Commercial team managing the Cocoa Global Accounts. This position reports directly into the Director, Cocoa Global Corp Accounts, but works closely with the Cocoa GCA Account leads on specific accounts. The Sales Support role also engages directly with the customers (Purchasing Managers) to help drive the sales and order-to-cash process. The role is often the front-line between BC and the customer.
Key responsibilities:
| Global Scope
- Support GCA Managers in key account management activities, including forecasting, pricing, contracting, and customer bean positions.
- Coordinate global cocoa tenders (e.g., cocoa butter and beans) across multiple rounds and volumes.
- Monitor long-term agreement volume commitments and ensure alignment with customer expectations.
- Follow up on overdue payments and support credit management processes.
| European Scope
- Act as the first point of contact for cocoa butter spot sales and customer inquiries.
- Manage daily communication with customers on commercial and supply chain topics.
- Analyze and report on forecasted, booked, and delivered volumes; provide weekly pacing updates.
- Coordinate resolution of supply issues and customer requests (e.g., QA, certificates, samples).
- Maintain and update customer master data in Salesforce.
- Input monthly demand sign-off for the European region.
About You:
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in customer service, sales support, or commercial operations.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with SAP and Salesforce is a plus.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
