About the role:

Reporting directly into the Global Account organisation, this role plays a pivotal part in strengthening Barry Callebaut’s relationships with Global Accounts, ensuring seamless execution of commercial processes, and enabling the Commercial Excellence agenda through improved systems, data quality, and operational discipline.

This role will act as the central point of contact within the BGS for the Global Account Sales team, ensuring effective coordination with Customer Care, Credit Control, and Complaint Handling to support seamless end to end service delivery.

This critical position will:

  • Liaise with various stakeholders in the sales process, internally and externally.
  • Provide day to day support to the Global account managers operating in regions WE and CEMEA, as well as the Global Account leads which operate globally
  • Support commercial teams in their commercial excellence journey 
  • Ad-hoc requirements as dedicated by business needs.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Global Account  managers in WE and CEMEA with commercial activities: contract management, contract extensions, invoicing, and payment follow up.
  • Support follow up of customer overdue invoices to ensure payment in a timely manner. 
  • Co-ordinate input of new sample requests, opportunities and new product introductions and NCIs, ensuring all information is up to date in salesforce (CRM tool).  
  • Support in monitoring KPIs, Prepare and distribute recurring contract status reports and ad hoc analytics to support decision contract management process..
  • Answer new incoming customer enquiries, provide accurate information about products / services and direct unknown enquiries to the relevant Barry Callebaut stakeholder. 
  • Support commercial team in entering cases relating to supplier portals into salesforce.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at standardizing global ways of working across CRM and order to cash process.
  • Support  specific workstreams within Commercial Excellence projects (eg. world class account plans) 
  • Maintain customer master data, contract documentation and commercial records in SAP, Salesforce and other relevant systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance
  • Maintain standard operating procedures, customer playbooks, account documentation and best-practice repositories to ensure consistency of service delivery across accounts

 

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable education required
  • Similar experience +2 years
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle a busy schedule and meet tight deadlines
  • Numerical skills
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written) in English
  • Computer literate - Microsoft Office Packages (Word, Excel and Powerpoint) is essential
  • SAP and Salesforce knowledge strong plus. Ability to manage opportunities, samples, cases and reports
  • Ability to work with structured and unstructured data
  • Basic data-analysis skills (Excel, Power BI desirable)
  • Able to work in a collaborative way in a pooled team that acts as 1 to support the business
  • Mindset of sharing best practice to close peers
