Regional Raw Materials Planner (with French)

About the role:
As a Regional Raw Materials Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring the availability and optimal inventory levels of raw materials across our manufacturing sites. 

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Defining, calculating, and maintaining stock parameters (e.g. safety stock, target inventory, reorder points, MOQ).
  • Translating the production and capacity plan (2 weeks to 18 months horizon) into a raw materials plan using the bill of materials.
  • Identifying availability issues and collaborating with Regional Supply Planning, Sourcing, and Local RM teams to find solutions.
  • Escalating supply issues to the tactical S&OP or Operational Control Tower and implementing corrective actions.
  • Monitoring KPIs related to raw materials and packaging (e.g. availability, stock levels, obsolete inventory, adherence to plan).
  • Acting as a key interface with suppliers and sourcing teams to resolve quality issues, out-of-spec deliveries, and non-deliveries.
  • Coordinating with manufacturing sites to re-deploy stocks in case of supply imbalances.
  • Ensuring stock levels align with budget or obtaining approval for deviations.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in raw materials and packaging planning processes.

 

About You:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain or planning.
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with numbers, data, and structured processes.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Experience with planning and reporting systems (e.g. SAP, OMP, BI, BW, BO).
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); French is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset - able to communicate clearly, listen actively, and build positive working relationships within the team.
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 2 times per year (occasional traveling).
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
