About the Role:
As a member of the Regional Liquid planning team, you will be responsible for securing the quality and effectiveness of the Operational supply plan, suggesting scenarios,s and taking decisions to maximize service and cost. Additionally, to ensure the capacity available to produce by preparing and improving the operational plan of our network. You will also manage and escalate capacity issues and steer the factory based on this capacity plan.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own and deliver a production plan on the active horizon across sites with optimal use of the network, asset utilization, and customer satisfaction.
  • When an issue can’t be solved locally within the plant (Reactive horizon), propose mitigation actions; bring unsolvable issues to the relevant decision forum.
  • Drive regular reviews with reactive planners and operations (i.e. local teams) on planning parameters to model capacity; OEEs, rates, calendars, and maintenance plans.
  • Ensure the operational plan is in line with tactical guidance: shift regimes, volume allocation between sites, transfers, and investment ramp-up.
  • Conduct RCA when deviating from tactical guidance significantly.
  • Keep closely connected with S&OP Planner. Ensure mutual understanding of plans coming from the S&OP layer and operational plans going into the S&OP layer.
  • As part of the weekly S&OE cycle, ensure full alignment with Cocoa.
  • Prepares for OPR meeting, S&D, and other relevant SC touchpoints with the focus on GAP mitigation (S&D balancing).
  • Make the link between reactive planning and action planning within the S&OE cycle; consolidated network overview 17 weeks out.
  • Drive S&OE weekly cycle, strongly engaging and involving Supply, Demand, Sales, Finance & all other departments in the process and meetings; Ensure E2E awareness and adherence to the weekly cycle.
  • Manage Gaps and balance S&D; workout Gap closing proposals and ensure timely communication and escalation to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure execution of resulting actions agreed during the S&OE meetings.
  • Support the implementation/execution of NPI projects and transfers.


About You

  • Higher Degree preferably in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
  • 3 years of experience in supply chain planning.
  • Good knowledge of planning processes E2E.
  • Good understanding of the planning triangle – Service vs Cost vs Responsiveness - And subsequent impact and drivers beyond SC.
  • Good level of English.
  • Efficient use of MS PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Basic knowledge of planning and reporting systems SAP, APO, OMP, BW, BI, etc.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Results-oriented and time management to drive and achieve goals.
