About the Role

We are looking for a Quality System & Certification Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with local and global teams to ensure seamless communication with customers and certification bodies. You will also manage factory audit processes and coordinate CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) Dashboard activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and update system documentation, ensuring the improvement of the local QDS database in the DMS system.

  • Provide support to BC Łódź employees regarding access to QDS documentation.

  • Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for customer quality arrangements.

  • Offer expert guidance to clients and other department representatives.

  • Perform GMP/5S/Glass audits in assigned areas.

  • Act as an internal auditor after completing the necessary training.

  • Prepare internal audit plans, checklists, and oversee audit completion and annual summaries.

  • Administer internal databases related to product quality, including RSPO, Kosher, RFA, UTZ, and Halal certifications.

  • Analyze complaint trends and generate reports.

  • Ensure timely and professional responses to customer inquiries via SFDC database.

  • Develop and implement corrective action plans following customer audits.

  • Monitor corrective actions related to customer audits, complaints, and internal audits.

  • Manage the CAPA database, support users, and analyze trends.

  • Handle customer complaints, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and provide necessary communications.

  • Analyze product and packaging complaint trends, ensuring timely responses.

  • Participate in customer audits and third-party audits.

  • Assist in translations, data preparation for weekly and monthly reports, and participate in meetings and teleconferences.

  • Support production activities as needed.

  • Ensure compliance with BC standards and procedures.

  • Oversee Halal and Kosher certification processes and coordinate related audit activities.

  • Escalate any quality-related issues that may impact the company’s image.

  • Provide data for Quality System Reviews.

  • Participate as a sensory tester if selected.

  • Update ANA data and verify its accuracy.

  • Prepare data for traceability reports.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: A degree in Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or Food Technology or related;

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google tools, SAP, and MS Office;

  • Language: Communicative English required;

  • Certifications: Preferred auditor qualifications (ISO 9001, ISO 22000, or Supplier Auditor certification);

  • Communication and presentation skills;

  • Strong time management and organizational abilities;

  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and global environment.

Preferred Experience & Knowledge

  • Experience in chocolate production and/or laboratory environments.

  • Familiarity with EU legislation and translation rules.

  • Experience in change management.
