About the role:
The Pricing Analyst does the price setting of a specific product range for our customers. Additionally the Pricing Analyst challenges margins with the respective account managers. The Pricing Analyst works under the responsibility of the Pricing Manager.
Key responsibiities:
- Responsible for the price setting of a specific product range
- Support (and conduct) price and margin negotiations with respective account managers based on margin parameters (SAP)
- Be in charge of making price quotes, booking contracts and administration of the contract portfolio
- Prepare all input for the creation of new price lists (SAP)
- Follow intraday market movements to monitor open price offers
- Be responsible for maintaining the raw material prices in SAP and conduct price simulations for new product introductions
- Coordinate with BC internal stakeholders to gather cost information where needed
- Coordinate with BC internal stakeholders to ensure a timely RM and FX hedging operation
- Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports and analysis
- Maintain and update pricing documentation
- Support pricing projects on ad-hoc basis
- Join weekly or monthly team calls with wider pricing team
About you:
- Bachelor / Master Degree in Finance or (Applied) Economics
- min 2 years or experience in Pricing or Commercial role(s)
- advanced Excel
- Powerpoint, SAP & Salesforce knowledge are a plus but not required
- Fluent in English
- Analytical, critical mindset, eye for detail, proactive, autonomous
