About the Role:
As a Global Manufacturing Excellence Coach, you will play a key role in driving continuous improvement across our global manufacturing footprint. Your mission is to coach teams, implement best practices, and foster a culture of zero loss and 100% engagement. You will work closely with plant leadership and BCOS managers to build capabilities, eliminate losses, and elevate operational performance in line with our BC Values and BCOS (our operational excellence system) principles.
You will be a trusted partner to Plant Managers and site teams, supporting them in their transformation journey and helping them reach best-in-class performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and embed the BCOS program at cluster level, ensuring alignment with loss elimination goals and CBN targets.
- Coach teams on BCOS methodologies and tools across all pillars, including on-the-floor activities.
- Conduct assessments, calibrate standards, and provide actionable feedback to leadership teams.
- Identify and share best practices across sites to drive reapplication and consistency.
- Build strong partnerships with Plant Managers and BCOS Managers to support implementation.
- Diagnose capability gaps and organizational behaviors that hinder progress.
- Develop leadership and technical capabilities to support current and future business needs.
- Collaborate with global pillar leaders to adjust master plans and support assessments.
- Visit sites regularly (at least every two months or as needed) to monitor progress and provide hands-on support.
- Stay connected with external networks and other clusters to bring in fresh perspectives and innovations.
- Support the development of critical systems and lead model site implementations.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing, ideally in the food industry.
- Proven track record in leading and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong hands-on experience with Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, and other CI methodologies (Black Belt level or equivalent is a plus).
- Excellent coaching and change management skills, with the ability to influence and partner with Plant Managers and site leadership.
- Comfortable with extensive travel within Europe (50%–75%) and regular presence on the shop floor.
- Fluent in English and skilled in stakeholder communication across all levels.
- Experience with digital manufacturing systems (e.g., MES, EMS, SAP, Maximo, CMMS).
- Resilient, result-oriented, and able to lead complex transformation projects.
