This is a temporary role (maternity cover)

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Daily registration of samples of raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished products, analysis of samples following the developed and implemented quality assurance system procedures.
  • Recording analysis results in appropriate microbiological sheets and in the SAP system, issuing quality certificates for finished products.
  • Release of goods when results meet specifications.
  • Blocking products and raw materials in the SAP system.
  • Performing microbiological proficiency tests.
  • Checking the compliance of certificates for dairy raw materials, reporting non-compliances to the Quality Supply Specialist.
  • Collection of water samples and environmental swabs and their shipment to an external laboratory.
  • Performing analyses of environmental and air samples and conducting corrective actions.
  • Preparation of monthly reports on microbiological trends and presentation at periodic meetings.
  • Preparation of microbiological media and reagents necessary for analysis and ensuring traceability.
  • Inspection and operation of the autoclave followed the operating instructions.
  • Inspection and supervision of laboratory equipment.
  • Supervising the storage of microbiological samples of raw materials and finished products.
  • Cooperation and contact with the Customer Care Agent regarding quality reports for the finished product.
  • Cooperation and contact with the Raw Material Planning team regarding the delivery of certificates for dairy raw materials.
  • The role of the taster in the event of qualification for the sensory testing program.
  • Cooperation with the Food Safety Manager in collecting samples and swabs for new lines.
  • Cooperation with the engineering team in collecting samples and swabs for new projects.
  • Collaboration with the purchasing department regarding laboratory orders (consumables, microbiological media, service).
  • Compliance with GLP and health and safety rules and 5S.

 

About you:

  • Higher degree preferred: biology, microbiology, biotechnology, food technology.
  • Computer operation; Google, SAP, MS Office.
  • Communicative English (B2).
  • Working experience in chocolate production and/or laboratories.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Time management
  • Good organizer
