Import / Export Customer Service Agent

About the Role:
As an Import/Export Customer Service Agent, you’ll be the central point of contact for our global customers, you’ll oversee the full order-to-cash process - from order entry to sea freight logistics. You’ll coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth, compliant, and timely deliveries.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and process international customer orders in line with contracts and product availability.
- Coordinate ocean freight shipments and loading with warehouses and logistics partners.
- Ensure all shipping documents and legal requirements (e.g. invoices, certificates, declarations) are accurate and delivered on time.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring smooth communication and issue resolution.
- Handle customer complaints and service issues, including issuing credit/debit notes when needed.
- Monitor order progress, participate in customer/sales calls, and provide regular updates.
- Validate transport invoices and maintain accurate records in internal systems.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business administration or similar.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in global logistics, freight forwarding, or customer-facing roles.
- Proficient in English.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, Google tools, and SAP.
- Familiar with Incoterms and international shipping documentation.
- Customer-focused and solution-driven.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communicator and team player with a proactive mindset.
