About the role:

As Import / Export Customer Service Agent you are managing our product to third-party as well as intercompany customers all over the world. In this role you monitor the order to cash process from order processing up to logistics. You act as the customer’s central point of contact within Barry Callebaut in order to make sure all customer’s needs are met and orders are executed on time and in full. 

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Process customer orders based on product availability and contract conditions.
  • Organize transport and coordinate export loadings with warehouse and logistics partners.
  • Ensure all customer and legal requirements are met.
  • Issue required shipping documents on time and communicate with customers.
  • Coordinate value-added services if required.
  • Act as the central customer contact within Barry Callebaut.
  • Issue and manage sales invoices and shipping documents.
  • Coordinate and resolve quality and service complaints, issuing Credit/Debit notes as needed.
  • Provide weekly updates on open orders to customers and sales.

 

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar
  • 3 years of experience in import/export logistics and/or customer service
  • Good knowledge of MS Office Suite: Excel and Word, Google Office Tools
  • Fluent  in English, other European languages will be an asset
  • Knowledge on ERP system: SAP
  • Ability to appropriately prioritize in an high volume/fast paced environment
  • Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make decisions independently
  • Solution-oriented and able to think outside the box
