About the role:
The Manager FP&A is a key member of Group Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), responsible for delivering high-quality financial insights, forward-looking analysis and decision support in their scope, while actively shaping the evolution of the FP&A function toward a more agile, automated and insight-led model.
The role combines strong financial fundamentals with advanced analytical capabilities, ownership of end‑to‑end processes, and a mindset oriented toward digitalization, Copilot usage, and automation.
The Mission is end-to-end ownership of Group Capex planning, forecasting, performance tracking and investment analytics, ensuring transparency, quality of decision-making and strong linkage between strategy, capital allocation and returns. Further details for Operations will be outlined, potentially covering governance in non-Capex areas or collaboration with CSD Customer, Supply, and Development FP&A.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own the Group Capex planning and forecasting process (Budget, LE, RF), including alignment with regions, functions and Transformation initiatives
- Lead Capex actuals tracking, variance analysis vs. Budget / LE / prior year, and bridge explanations (timing, phasing, scope changes). Identify and provide insights into variances.
- Partner with Customer Supply Department, Digital and Sustainability on:
- Investment pipeline visibility
- Project phasing, ramp-up and value delivery tracking
- Prepare Capex views for CFO, ExCom, Board and Capex Committee, including scenario and sensitivity analysis
- Drive post-investment reviews and support continuous improvement of capital allocation discipline
- Act as functional owner for Capex reporting tools, models and dashboards
- Identify and implement automation opportunities in Capex reporting, approvals and post-investment tracking (incl. Copilot-enabled workflows)
- Create and consolidate group financial reports to management and CFO
- Support with business planning and business control within the organization
- Develop and maintain financial models e.g. project NPV and payback calculation
- Own and develop policies and procedures for Capex and Leases
- Enhance dashboards and financial reports to increase transparency, drive accountability, and support data-driven decision-making at all levels.
- Support ad-hoc, time-sensitive analysis requirements
- Maintain compliance with processes and procedures, recommend corrective action when identified and maintain suitable records to demonstrate compliance
About you:
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 8/10+ years of management experience in FP&A and/or Controlling with proven ownership of complex, multi-dimensional financial scopes
- Financial modeling and storytelling skills (bridges, scenarios, sensitivities)
- High data literacy; ability to connect financials with operational and business drivers/insights
- Excellent Excel / PowerPoint skills; solid exposure to BI tools and SAP/Business Warehouse
- Strong ability to identify inefficiencies and automate repetitive tasks
- Proficiency in English, both written and oral
- Comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities
- Clear communicator, able to translate complexity for senior leadership
