About the Opportunity:

We are offering you the opportunity to further develop your career within our Operations and Supply Chain Organization in the EMEA region.

Over the 2 year term you will have the opportunity to gain experience in 3 core areas including Production Management, Continuous Improvement Management and Implementation of POKA.

You will gain significant international experience with the opportunity to undertake at least one rotation abroad.

Over the 3 rotations you will gain experience and actively contribute by:

  • Mapping out the full production process:
    • how a chocolate production organization operates (assets, products, people, KPI performance management, production scheduling, sourcing…).
    • You will work on key bottlenecks (capacity, waste, resourcing, flow….) for Lodz, Poland.
    • You will refine the current production management routines in order to raise the productivity of the chocolate production lines (eg refine KPIs, refine & implement team boards, make a next step in 5S)

  • Implementing POKA, an innovative IT collaboration platform that facilitates the training, knowledge exchange and the creation of standard operating procedures on the shop floor.
    • You will suggest and build the content for POKA (new standards, training videos,..)
    • You will implement the management structure to keep it relevant and alive for all involved (operators up to senior management).

  • Driving Continuous improvement:
    • You will shape the Operational Excellence system in a large & unionized site, undergoing a big transformation.
    • You will suggest and build the elements for the local Operational Excellence system.
    • You will implement several elements like standards (eg SOPs, OPLs, 5S, RCA,..), performance management structures (eg team boards, meeting routines, roles & responsibilities), KPI measurement (eg leading & lagging KPIs, from shop floor up to plant management) that will drive Triple Zero impact – 0 accidents, 0 defects, 0 delays.

About You

  • You are a real ‘people’ person who can influence and motivate stakeholders from operator up to Plant Manager to adopt the necessary behaviors and routines in their day-to-day life, and thereby creating a true culture change.
  •  You are a great listener, you know how to do problem solving and have self-reflection.
  • You have good presentation skills and you are able to communicate thoughts in a crisp, structured way, feeling confident in front of a large audience.
  • Strong analytical skills & process thinking
  • Identify interdependencies, grasp complex problems quickly
  • Good communication skills, capable of interacting with different stakeholders
  • Knowledge of common office software like MS Power Point, Excel (including pivots) and Word.
