About the role:

The HR Advisor provides expert guidance and support to employees and managers on a wide range of human resources matters and handles employee lifecycle processes. The role is a part of the GBS HR Services team and the incumbent will be the first point of contact for employee inquiries related to Talent Attraction, Learning & Development, Talent & Performance Management, HR policies, Time & Attendance, and Workforce administration. 

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships across the client group and cross-functional HR Partners.
  • Act as point of contact for issues and questions within the duties and responsibilities of the HR Services Team.
  • Provide HR support and guidance to employees and managers within the organization.
  • Answer general questions from employees and assist with various HR processes, such as enrollments of new employees, life events, changes, and other HR-related transactions.
  • Collaborate with HR specialists and other departments to ensure effective HR service delivery. This may involve working closely with HR business partners, talent acquisition teams, payroll, and other HR functions.
  • Participate in projects and assignments as directed by the organization. This can include initiatives related to compensation and benefits program enhancements, process improvements, or other HR-related projects.
  • Navigate HRIS platforms effectively and utilize data for analysis and decision-making.

 

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of HR experience within a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Fluent in English, both written and oral. 
  • Very good knowledge of French language.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels within the organization.
  • Detail-oriented and efficient person, able to flex priorities to current needs and deliver a consistent level of quality.
  • Solid understanding of HR practices, policies, and employment laws. This includes staying updated on relevant legislation, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and provide accurate guidance to employees and managers.
  • Knowledge of HR practices and employment laws.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, tech-savvy.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Must be able to handle sensitive HR information confidentially and professionally.
