About the role:

 

Role on FP&A Analyst will provide quantitative, analytic support to the business partners on the ground and the management of an array of plants for making strategic, operational and tactical decisions in the areas of plant operations and supply chain (CSD - Customer Supply & Development). Support efficient, harmonized and high quality reporting and analysis across multiple plants, maintaining a high standard. Steer initiatives aimed at sharing best practices, knowledge and continuous improvement of analytics as well as reporting processes.

 

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Create a cost proposal in close coordination with local BP and factory management and consolidating data where applicable
  • Perform variance analysis versus budget and prior year plus other metrics as well as on estimates for plant costs and other KPIs 
  • Drive the analysis of factory costs in interaction with local/cluster business partners, promoting best practices and influencing positive change
  • Develop proposals on budget & forecast. Review with local/cluster business partners and functional management, enriching with local insights to create accurate action plans to achieve targets. 
  • Deep dive into volume/cost and productivity activities, identify exposure risks & recommend resolutions
  • Work together with Business Partners to identify drivers of costs and action plans to reduce them
  • Develop insightful presentations based on gained knowledge and in close collaboration with local/cluster BPs for various meetings 
  • Provide overall FP&A support, solving ad-hoc questions, influencing decision making, proactively identify findings and presenting insights in a simple and stakeholder-appropriate manner
  • Support cash and investment process for plants, from launching investment proposals to global support
  • Participate in cross-functional teams accountable for developing the yearly budgets and forecasts for owned scope
  • Other special projects include working to build, communicate, continuously improve and monitor new processes 
  • This position will need to build and maintain relationships with functional disciplines outside of Finance, including Supply Chain, Operations, Sales and Leadership team

 

 

About you:

 

  • 5+ years of experience in Controlling and/or FP&A and/or Reporting with obligatory accounting understanding
  • Prior experience in plant controlling desirable
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools
  • Good operational knowledge of MS Office software with advanced Excel skills. VBA/Power Query/Power BI would be an advantage 
  • Documented proficiency with SAP and Business Warehouse
  • Proficiency in English, both written and oral. Additional foreign languages appreciated but not required.
