Barry Callebaut Digital is on a mission to lead the digital revolution in the chocolate industry. We are looking for an Expert Business Analyst - Financial Consolidation to drive operational excellence in our finance processes. This is a unique opportunity to enhance financial consolidation processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency, while shaping the digital future of our organization.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Work independently on business processes and application solutions, focusing on financial consolidation.

  • Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technological and functional frameworks, workflows, or documentation.

  • Implement and integrate financial consolidation systems and tools, ensuring compliance with business requirements and regulatory standards.

  • Support the development of IT solution architecture and design (e.g., SAP BusinessObjects Financial Consolidation, SAP Financial Information Management).

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance digital financial consolidation solutions and processes.

  • Design business process documentation, test plans, and workflows, including user acceptance testing.

  • Oversee the design, planning, execution, monitoring, and refinement of testing processes.

  • Act as a subject matter expert for digital financial consolidation projects, managing escalations in daily operations and projects.

  • Work with global resources from multiple competence centers.

  • Guide and mentor others, fostering collaboration and driving digital transformation in financial operations.

  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in financial consolidation processes.

 

About you:

  • Education: Graduate degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years’ experience in financial consolidation, with strong knowledge of finance-related integrations.

  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the manufacturing or consumer goods industry is preferred (food & beverages industry is a plus).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.

  • Ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.

  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to mentor and inspire others, fostering collaboration across global teams.

  • Self-driven, independent, and proactive approach to problem-solving.
