About the role:

Barry Callebaut Digital (BC Digital) is on a mission to lead the digital revolution in the chocolate industry, and we're looking for a Director Digital Finance to lay the foundation of operational excellence in our finance processes. Reporting to the VP Digital Enabling, you will have the unique opportunity to shape our digital future. You will lead our Digital Finance team and steer initiatives to uplift our digital capabilities, enabling finance processes through best-in-class digital solutions. In this position, you will play a key role in turning our aspirations of a digital transformation into reality and lifting Barry Callebaut to the next level.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee Digital Finance at Barry Callebaut, driving Barry Callebaut's digitization efforts, focusing on digital Controlling (CO), FP&A and Pricing relevant processes and capabilities.
  • Directly report to the VP Digital Enabling, ensuring alignment with the overall digital strategy for enabling and contributing to the digital transformation roadmap.
  • Lead and inspire the digital finance team driving finance solutions, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence.
  • Oversee the development, deployment, and management of finance related digital products and innovations, ensuring they meet business objectives.
  • Act as trusted business partner manager towards our finance business functions ensuring high user satisfaction of finance related digital products and services.
  • Engage and collaborate with relevant business leaders to identify opportunities for digital enhancements, ensuring alignment with the Barry Callebaut’s strategic goals.
  • Champion the integration of data-centric, digital technologies and practices enabling finance processes, driving efficiency, scalability, and sustainability.

 

About you:

  • Graduate degree in Finance, Business Administration and/or Information Systems, or a comparable field.
  • Experienced in leadership of Finance and Digital Teams with a strong Finance Controlling (incl. Product Costing), FP&A and ideally also Pricing background, e.g. in the manufacturing or consumer goods industry.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Experience in setting up and leading digital product units and strategy, e.g. leading business analysts, requirements engineers, UX designers and steering development of digital products and services.
  • Deep understanding of finance from a business and digital perspective incl. related digital trends.
  • Expertise in finance technologies, e.g. ERP, consolidation or cashflow management systems.
  • The ability to bring people together and mobilize individuals to pursue a joint agenda.
  • Demonstrated success in leading diverse teams & driving change in a collaborative way on a global scale.
  • Independent and self-driven personality.
  • Skills to create internal and external partnerships/networks across the organization.
