About the role:

Deployment Planning Lead oversees a team, balancing inventory across warehouses. This role involves close collaboration with customer service, the OPR Solid planning community, and key business stakeholders to ensure timely and full product availability. Additionally, the Deployment Planner supports continuous improvement initiatives and projects. The role involves, in addition to leadership tasks, operational work.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage a team.
  • Develop and maintain effective deployment plans for an efficient supply chain.
  • Collaborate with OPR Solid Lead to integrate deployment and production plans.
  • Create and maintain purchase orders between main and satellite warehouses.
  • Generate reports to identify potential supply shortages.
  • Proactively resolve supply chain issues, escalating unsolvable issues to relevant forums.
  • Execute fair share principles based on business rules during supply shortages.
  • Develop strategies for optimizing distribution and monitor supply chain performance metrics.
  • Review and update supply network models and processes for cost efficiency.

 

About you:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of experience in supply planning, purchasing, inventory management, and/or logistics.
  • 1-2 years of experience in leading a team
  • APICs or related supply chain certification.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with SAP.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles, especially integrated supply planning processes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Holistic decision-making approach, focusing on facts and figures.
