About the role:
Barry Callebaut Digital (BC Digital) is on a mission to lead the digital revolution in the chocolate industry, and we're looking for a Data Requirement & Lifecycle Manager to help us lift Barry Callebaut to the next level of data-driven decision-making. Reporting to the Data Enablement Director, you will ensure that our business is enabled through data analytics capabilities and that our data products are managed in line with business requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Design processes to manage data products from conception to development to running & maintenance.
- Facilitate the collection, understanding, and aggregation of data needs through the various analytics use cases.
- Collaborate with other data teams to design data products by using standard practices & accelerators.
- Collaborate with governance experts and data owners to define standard data practices for the quality, availability, and sharing of data products.
- Manage the data product knowledge and documentation for data product discovery.
- Contribute to the awareness around data products and to a culture of data-driven decision-making.
- Support planning of team capacity and budgets for large projects.
About you:
- Degree in IT/technology, data, business administration, or a comparable field.
- Proficiency in English.
- Minimum of 5 years in data management and/or enablement in the food & beverages / manufacturing industry (additional relevant industry experience is a plus).
- Experienced in enabling an organization through best-in-class data analytics capabilities.
- Good knowledge of data analytics processes and technologies.
- Proven demand management experience.
- Advanced knowledge of processes and technologies around data product management.
- Good problem-solving skills and structured way of working.
- The ability to bring people together and mobilize individuals to pursue a joint agenda.
- Skills to create internal and external partnerships/networks across the organization.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, being able to communicate problems to non-technical audiences.
- Independent and self-driven personality, taking responsibility and owning tasks.
