About the role:

Barry Callebaut, the world’s leading manufacturer of high-quality chocolate and cocoa products, is looking for a Customer R&D Specialist (f/m/d) to join our Łódź production site located in Nowy Józefów. In this role, you will be part of a manufacturing environment within a global organization that covers the entire chocolate value chain - from sourcing and processing cocoa beans to creating premium chocolate solutions, including fillings, decorations, and chocolate mixes. You will support customers across the food industry, ranging from industrial manufacturers to artisanal chocolatiers, bakers, and hospitality professionals.

Key responsibilities:

As customer R&D, you will act as the face to the customer by advising them in applications and choice of theright products/developments, providing them technical support and training (product range, applications)when needed, together with technical services.
Working together with sales team and marketing, you will create new market opportunities by leveraging the customer network and product innovations.
Working with Product Experts, you will deliver them clear briefs as a base for NPI and organize the coordination of the projects internally and with the customer. It will also be key to maintain a good overview of customercapabilities, product portfolio, future projects and launches

About You:

Structure & Coordination skills
Management through prioritization
High level of initiative, dedication and persuasiveness
Building People capability
Technical knowledge in confectionery, BAPA, Ice cream, Dairy
Technical knowledge in Chocolate - compound and fillings
Master degree in Food Science / Business administration or similar or equivalent level gained fromexperience
3+ years’ experience in food industry
Experience in project management and leadership
Outstanding presentation skills
Experience in client interaction
Good knowledge in working tools (MS office, Salesforce, SAP)
Business English and German Fluent
