Chocolate Academy Chef is responsible for training customers at the Chocolate Academy and also in other similar local facilities at our customer premises.  The work will extend beyond the simple transfer of knowledge and skills to raising the customers usage of chocolate by the development of recipes and menus and if appropriate and in conjunction with the gourmet sales team promotions.




  • Assist in planning and organizing the Academy calendar
  • Enroll and speak to course and bespoke training attendees
  • Answer email course enquiries
  • Preparation of course bookings, ingredients, equipment and suppliers
  • Assist and make any product for both the Industrial and Gourmet sales force to aid their job in selling products to direct accounts
  • Teaching chocolate skills in the academy both on a formal pre sold courses and on development days for Key accounts
  • Organize Gourmet direct account visits with a view to transfer knowledge through training and assist in the development of menu and promotional ideas for the customer
  • Support key Distribution Partners by providing training at their Academies/labs
  • Participation in trade fairs & events
  • Assist when requested with Industrial account visits
  • Cover for Head of Academy when requested.



  • Masters in Economics/Business/Food Engineering is nice to have
  • Proven track record in commercial foodservice chain account mgt
  • 3yrs + in Chocolate management
  • English (communicative – willingness to progress).



  • Travel across within Country as required
  • Occasional External travel as required
