Buyer Indirect Spend

Key responsibilities:

 

 

  • manages all indirect spend (Opex and Capex), looking for both short term opportunities through spot buy reduction and long term opportunities through strategic sourcing activity;
  • represents the BC sourcing department in the indirect spend area for both technical and non-technical spend, advocating procurement and sourcing, demonstrating added value for BC;
  • spreads and implements purchasing processes as a constant reference for stakeholders and internal customers;
  • builds and maintains Supplier relationships with the objective of reducing costs, eliminating inefficiencies throughout the Procurement Cycle and being a representative of our company’s core values;
  • analyzes the market finding for opportunities to improve the suppliers base with the best possible alternatives according to the sourcing policy;
  • develops strategies and tactics – together with the business - to give our company a competitive advantage in either technology or cost;
  • the jobholder reports directly to the Senior Buyer indirect spend.

 

 

About you:

 

  • Purchasing certificate / degree or relevant work experience  
  • 3-5 years of Indirect Spend experience
  • Advanced training in MS office (Excel), SAP and or Maximo   
  • English at least at B2 level
  • Purchasing Process Acumen
  • Negotiation Skills
  • Strong analytical capabilities
  • Strong Technical Knowledge
