About the role:

The Application Support Analyst analyses all assignments (“tickets”) in the field of expertise and resolves them, working with the pool of developments. Seeks guidance and support from Senior Application Support Analyst, where required. 

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Focus is on “Incidents”, “Service Requests” and “Information Request” tickets from the users, occasionally works on “Requests for Change” which are bundled into quarterly Enhancement packs.
  • Solves the assigned tickets as independently as possible, seeking support from the Senior Application Support Analyst where required.
  • Work with the development team to get any development done and with Application Delivery teams for template guidance.
  • Ensure that assignments get resolved/tested and approved according to procedures, including User Acceptance Testing.
  • Monitor interfaces/batches – analyze issues and dispatch them to the relevant teams.
  • Work with people from remote locations/regions (internal/external).
  • Continue to grow expertise in the respective business processes and applications.

 

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Information Technology, or similar.
  • Up to 5 years of experience in application maintenance or application support.
  • Strong in English.
  • Experience with ITIL processes & systems (incident & change management).
  • Experience in working with SAP R/3 system (one of the logistics modules, SD preferable) is a plus.
  • Experience in specifying and designing custom solutions on SAP ERP (ABAP) is a plus.
  • Have an interest and knowledge of Order to Cash and Pricing processes.
  • An analytical mind, and attention to detail make you an ideal candidate.
  • Excellent communicator and team player with a critical, yet result-oriented and positive attitude.
