AP Accountant (T&E)

Based: Łódź, Poland


About you:


•    Master degree in accounting, finance or similar field
•    At least 3 years of professional background in a similar position
•    Very good in business English
•    Excellent user knowledge of SAP and Excel
•    Strong technical accounting and analytical skills, service-oriented, demonstrates flexibility
•    Organizational skills and accuracy
•    Ability to work in teams and with deadlines
•    Willingness to take ownership of problems and ability to communicate with clients and colleagues at all levels while being customer service focused


Key resposibilities:

•    Process Concur expenses reports in accordance to accounting standards, global and local policies 
•    Timely handling of employees queries
•    Regular monitoring of AP T&E accounts: open employee balances (including debit balances, blocked items) and related activities to ensure compliance. Escalate risk and drive for resolution with Team Lead 
•    Resolving the issues in order to release outgoing payments
•    Managing corporate cards 
•    Coordinating business travels, supporting local travel coordinators
•    Managing relationship with FCM, Citibank and IM/IT tools used in order to manage travels
•    Liaising with Global Indirect Spend, Group Accounting and Corporate HR to answer ad-hoc requests related to global/regional/local travel and expense questions
•    Maintenance of the Travel Policy moving forward and ensuring coordination with the regions and validation of respect of the travel policy globally
•    Reference for any future audit on travel policy
•    Ensure that travel policy is respected (e.g. no breach via submission of expenses that are not in line with the policy)
•    Maintenance of the Travel website on intranet
•    VIP travel support 
•    Delivering productivity and KPIs improvement
•    Perform monthly and yearly close activities
•    Constant improvement of the process
•    Collaborate with other teams in continuous improvement activities and initiatives focusing on delivering efficiency, transparency and standardization
•    Perform ad hoc data analysis 
•    Train new team members, provide guidance and support for accountants
•    Take responsibility for your own actions and provide support, guidance and training to your colleagues, and the business
•    Maintain Gemba actions and track progress of agreed actions; escalate risk and drive for resolution with Team Lead
•    Participate actively in projects from GPO/SSC FLT agenda, escalate risk and drive for resolution with Team Lead/GPO
