About the role

 

THIS IS A TEMPORARY ROLE FOR ONE YEAR

 

As part of the Global Product Innovation Centre of Excellence team, you play an essential role in the R&D and launch of new products. Under the guidance of the Product Innovation Manager, you work closely together with Product Experts, lab technicians, and R&D coordinators where you are responsible for a variety of tasks. You will be responsible to conduct tests on products and ingredients to problem-solve and create different product solutions. You are expected to be digitally inclined to drive execution of the needed tasks on Salesforce, SAP, Microsoft, and internal digital platforms.

 

Key responsibilities include

 

  • Manage and execute different New Product Introduction (NPI) projects including product creations, pilot trials, application tests, and sampling.
  • Search and find different products and ingredients from our standard range to propose different choices for the ongoing projects.
  • Manage digital projects on salesforce including creating items, product forms, and sample requests.
  • Write technical reports summarizing the conducted R&D work and its outcomes.
  • Request any needed analytical testing on the internal laboratory website.
  • Sampling and shipping products between the different R&D centers and sites.
  • Keep a clear overview of the ongoing activities and share updates on bi-weekly basis.
  • Present learnings and new insights to the wider product expert community.

 

 

About you

 

  • Bachelors Degree in Food Technology or similar.
  • 2-3 years of experience in the food industry.
  • Experience in Project Management is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of working tools MS Office, Salesforce, SAP, Labshop, …etc.

 

  • High interest in confectionery products & curiosity to understand them.
  • High initiative, dedication, and enthusiasm.
  • Creative thinker & a solutions provider.
  • Team player.

 

  • Fluent Business English is a must, other languages are a plus.

 

This role requires a minimum of 4 days on-site in Wieze.
