About The Role


Barry Callebaut is launching a global Industrial Cyber Security (ICS) program, to increase the level of security in its production plants across the globe. As program manager ICS, you are in charge of this multi-year strategic program. The program consists of several investment projects in our main plants. The role includes the definition and realization of these projects, internal alignment with plant and regional management and the IT department, financial management of the program, and setting up partnerships with service providers.

You will be part of the Corporate Engineering team, based in Wieze (Belgium), which is responsible to realize the electricity, automation and cyber security part of major investment projects for the Barry Callebaut Group worldwide.


Key Responsibilities Include


  • Definition and realization of Industrial Cyber Security investment projects in selected Barry Callebaut plants.
  • Internal alignment with plant an regional management on the scope and organization of these projects.
  • Internal alignment with the IT department to ensure compatible solutions with IT investment portfolio.
  • Financial management of the investment program, including decisions on budget allocations to different sites.
  • Setting up of partnerships with external service providers for rollout and maintenance of solutions.
  • Be the ambassador of the industrial cyber security program, internal and external, in particular to top management.


About You


  • You are a strong communicator, able to manage various stakeholders, often with different objectives and cultural background.
  • Your have strong organization skills, setting up multiple projects in parallel.
  • You approach challenges with a top-down generalist approach, but are skilled to enter into technical details of the projects.
  • You have a master degree in engineering, preferably in the field of electro-mechanics or electronics-ICT.   
  • You have proven experience with automation and industrial networks on one hand and cyber security solutions on the other hand.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in managing engineering  projects.
  • You are familiar with international standards for industrial cyber security (ISO27001 and IEC62443). Knowlegde of Siemens automation platforms (WinCC, TIA portal) is an advantage.
  • You are fluent in English, and have a basic knowledge of French.
  • You are prepared to travel during rollout phase of projects in various factories around the globe (missions of 2-3 weeks).
