About the role

Within the guidelines of the regional Gourmet sales team, support, participate, contribute and execute Sales activities in order to contribute together with Marketing to meet functional short and medium term sales objectives in Wallonia region.

Develop and maintain the business relationships with these local customers and develop account plans, in conjunction with the Gourmet management team. Delegate, motivate and inspire internal stakeholders for the common goal.

In this role you report to the Sales Manager Bakery/Pastry & Confectionery.

Key responsibilities are:

·       You perform sales activities on artisan accounts (chocolatiers/bakery & pastry segment/confectionery) in Wallonia region, for achievement of sales budget and targets within sales territory in order to meet commercial objectives.

·       You propose sales improvements and new ways to approach actual and potential customers in sales territory. 

·       You support and advise clients on innovations and product developments. 

·       You ensure knowledge and know-how within area of expertise is continuously updated and relevant.

·       You actively communicate frequently with sales team, manager and cross functional departments within the organisation regarding targets, customers and product availability.

·       You develop and maintain new and existing customer relationships and ensure professional customer relationship management (CRM).

·       You live up to internal rules and trade legislation when negotiating and making contracts with customers.

·       You validate the accuracy and appropriateness of the data used and ensure relevance and high quality of data output e.g. reports, analysis.

·       You actively transfer information and feedback from the market/customers to managers, colleagues and relevant other departments.

·       You actively increase own professional knowledge and expertise and ensure understanding of the global BC organisation.

 

About you
You hold a Master degree in Economics, Finance or commerce related field
You have at least 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in a Gourmet related environment
As a person you have a specific business understanding & market know-how of the B2B food industry

You are knowledgable in MS Office  
You are native French, fluent in English and you understand Dutch
