About the role

 

Under the management of the Site Supply Chain Manager, the Raw Material Call Off Planner will be responsible for the ordering of raw materials to be delivered at the site, e.g. packed raw materials ordered from the warehouse to the site and bulk raw materials ordered from the supplier to the site. The Raw Material Call Off Planner will work closely with the Master planners as well as the production schedulers. Additionally, the Raw Material Call Off Planner will participate in key initiatives and projects to support continuous improvement.

 

Key responsibilities include

 

  • Place orders for raw materials towards the warehouse (for packed) & the supplier (for bulk) to ensure proper execution of the production schedule/plan
  • Maintain raw material orders in case of adjustment in the schedule and communicate those changes with the relevant stakeholders
  • Coordinate with production schedulers in case of RM shortage or delay in the delivery from supplier
  • Ensure correctness of raw material lead-times and ensure that orders are placed within the agreed lead-times by continuously checking master data
  • Coordinate with regional RM planners & the sourcing team in case of missing contracts at suppliers. Perform jointly a root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to avoid this from happening
  • Prepare tank planning for the short term horizon and communicate unloading plan to operations
  • Ensure compliance with the QA and safety regulations
  • Ensure that the stock of RM does not exceed the available space assigned for it in the factory
  • Follow up and approve invoices from external suppliers, especially regarding waiting costs
  • Perform root cause analysis for line stoppages, unanticipated cost impacts and other situations linked to RAW material availability,
  • Collaborate as Supply Chain representative in the assigned projects
  • Use MRP from system to prepare call offs
  • Align with cocoa via OMP to perform internal call offs
  • Install bi weekly calls with suppliers to proactively follow up on potential supply constraints
  • Develop & Manage KPIs for order changes towards and by suppliers
  • Supplier evaluation via KPI follow up
  • Lead & manage the slot booking tool for your SKUs to reduce waiting times and have a better follow-up on waiting costs
  • Support on weekly local S&OE
  • NCR preparation & follow up for your SKUs
  • Lead stock reconciliation for both bulk and palletized goods
  • Prepare details on cost impact with reasons after stock reconciliation

 

 

About you

 

  • Bachelor Degree, preferably within Business or Engineering
  • Dutch speaker and fluent in English

 

  • 2 to 3 years experience in supply planning
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices, specifically the integrated supply planning process.
  • Good understanding of the other supply planning processes focused on distribution requirements planning, raw materials planning, and scheduling
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
  • Previous experience with SAP, OMP and Business Objects
  • Process Oriented

 

  • Within the site supply planning team you are able to engage, negotiate and influence
