About the role

Barry Callebaut is a growth company and the BeNeLux is an important contributor to the results of Western Europe. In this role you are responsible for a portfolio of customers with a total turnover between 30 and 50 mln Eur. You define the vision and strategy to be successful in serving these key account customers. You are a trustworthy entrepreneur that is strong in relationship building and creative in your approach. You will report to the Sales Manager Benelux.

 

Key responsibilities include

- You show a passion for food and chocolate in particular. This passion makes you go the extra mile, for Barry Callebaut and for your customers.

- In a B2B environment you will interact with confectionery, bakery, dairy, ice cream customers. 

- You achieve volume and margin budgets with your key account customer portfolio

- You keep an overall perspective of the business and interact with your colleagues across departments to understand the bigger dynamic and trends of the market.

- As a person you show creativity and eagerness to capture opportunities when they present themselves

- You make thorough key account plans to prioritize your actions and set goals

- You act like the general manager of your portfolio, treating and following through with your customer portfolio as if it were your own company

- You act as the customers’ voice within Barry Callebaut to ensure customer satisfaction and continuity of trading relationships, whilst ensuring the interests of Barry Callebaut

- Playing in a team comes naturally to you and you are an inspiration to those around you, who move with you toward the common goal.

 

About you

- You obtained a Master degree – a technical or marketing background is a plus.

- You have at least 5 years of work experience

- As a person you have strong stakeholder management and communication skills and an analytical mindset with eagerness to learn and take ownership.

- You show the ability to work in a complex, fast-paced environment.

- You are fluent in Dutch, English and preferably French as well.

- Our preferred candidate is a Salesforce fan.

Our preferred candidate is creative, curious and persistent, B2C experience is a plus
