About the role:

The role will be instrumental in supporting the Global Supplier Quality team in the execution of business critical projects by driving and delivering on core activities linked to supplier, raw material and packaging material set-up. This role has global exposure and a strong influencing component to all geographical regions and a multitude of cross-functional stakeholders, both internal and external.


Key responsibilities:

  • Project management: 
    • Analyze data / activities on raw materials and suppliers from various sources, (SAP, Salesforce, Suppliers,...). 
    • Plan, organize, coordinate and execute project activities.
    • Take ownership and follow up on collecting and / or validating data per designated project templates, to enable evaluation and approval.
    • Deliver project outcomes including evaluation and approval of raw materials and suppliers against BC standards, legal / regulatory compliance, certification requirements to enable compliant final product.
    • Escalate potential risks and issues in a timely manner. Propose and implement solutions.
    • Coach project team members on delivery of project tasks


  • Supporting transition from project to operational flow
    • Prepare and deliver training to local teams on the defined operational flow.
    • Coach and support local / regional teams to transition; execute visits as needed. 
  • Reporting and performance management
    • Define dashboard which bring relevant insights
    • Drive business process improvements based on those dashboards.
    • Tracking and reporting on project targets & KPI’s..
    • Generate ad hoc analysis of different project learnings and data sources to update project templates and processes.
  • Budgeting and controls
    • Drive and deliver project business case, scope, timing and effort estimates to key stakeholders. 
    • Tracking and reporting monthly spend vs budget.


About you:

  • Master’s degree in Food/Bio/Chemical Science or Engineering or Industrial Business Management
  • Fluency in English 
  • Fluency in additional languages would be an asset
  • > 5 years’ experience in Quality or R&D function in the Food or Pharmaceutical industry.
  • Of which 3+ years of experience in Project Management or Operations environment.
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Computer competencies: Google, Salesforce, SAP, MS Office.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, food safety, food labeling requirements, food legislation.
  • Knowledge / experience of quality systems such as FSSC, ISO and/or BRC.
  • Project management skills would be an asset.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical approach, mindset & skills.
  • Ability to work easily with different cultures, time zones in cross functional teams
