About the Role


The Business Analyst performs “senior level” design and implementation work on business process & application projects and can drive smaller projects in own content domain forward.  In “Application Project Delivery” services.  With a focus on the business process area Forecast-To-Stock (Production & Warehousing).



Key Responsibilities Include


  •  Taking a lead in business-facing design discussions and processes and translating to the application impacts in the factory & warehousing area.
  • Lead and drive the progress of smaller projects to deliver value to the business teams in the factory and warehousing area.
  • Take part in a wide range of projects in the factories and logistics domain (Template roll-outs (Mergers & Greenfields), Template improvements, Labelling, Automation/MES Interfacing, 3rd Party Logistics communications, S/4HANA preparation & migration)
  • Leads or performs at a senior level full lifecycle project tasks: conceptual design, detailed design, build/configuration, testing, data design & coach data preparation by business users, training planning & execution, conversion planning & execution, go-live support.  Tasks cover all aspects of business change (processes, business data, supporting applications, organization alignment, enabling IT infrastructure).
  • Implement one or more of the following modules: SAP PP (Production Planning) / PP-PI (Production Planning for Process Industries), MM (Materials Management), and WM (Warehouse Management) with HUM (Handling Unit Management), or linked applications. Additional training or on-the-job training will be given if you do not yet have experience in all these areas.
  • Can be supervising up to 10 FTE staff overtime in the area of expertise, eg leading a “functional workstream” on a larger project or multi-projects, consisting of Senior and Junior Business Analysts. Keeps up to speed with “best practice” evolution in the respective business process areas, to remain experienced.  Brings in continuous improvement in the area of expertise.


About You


  • +5 years of relevant work experience in an international company
  • Good experience with one or more of the following SAP modules: SAP PP, SAP PP-PI, SAP MM, SAP WM/HUM
  • Strong knowledge in functional logistics and/or production flows
  • Able to communicate with the business and take part in design discussions and able to drive tasks in the different phases of a project
  • Team player in changing project teams
