Chocolate Academy Chef (DACH Scope)

Key Responsibilities Include

 

  • Support the customer journey by developing relevant concepts based on customer briefs essentially with Industrial customers.
    • Guarantee a perfect execution of the Inspirational and Co-Creation days towards all typology of customers
    • Inspire customer by showcasing our relevant product portfolio on inspiring creations
    • Present the concepts at customer site, partner’s kitchen or one of our Academy
  • Create and develop all the new product applications per segment in coordination with Marketing including photoshoot and video shoot.
  • With the rest of the team, ensure the local development of Global brands identifying the right initiatives to support the sales development of the brand
  • Support the national fairs and events together with marketing and sales manager
  • Act as a local influencer within the internal Barry Callebaut chef community and national chef community. Stay connected to the German and Austrian Ambassador network.
  • Travel requirements: around 2 weeks per month in DACH region
  • Monitor the activity of the Chocolate Academy with the dedicated tools (Salesforce and CMR).

 

About You

 

  • Degree in Culinary school (confectionery and pastry, ice cream is nice to have).
  • Degree in Food Technology or Gastronomy Science is nice to have.
  • Deep knowledge of pastry and confectionery techniques in for all typology of customers food manufacturing, chains, key accounts, instore bakery & global accounts business organization
  • Degustation and food pairing skills
  • Knowledge of B2B market and production organization of pastry business, pastry shops, hotels, restaurants and chocolate shops
  • Strong communication & public speaking skills
  • Experience of working in a multi-cultural international environment
  • Strong business acumen
  • Organization and anticipation skills.
