About the Role

  • Due to a large number of projects within the Treasury Back Office Department, we are looking for an Analyst Back Officer to temporarily assist the team and Manager Back Office in the daily operations and projects. The assignment is foreseen for 18 months with the possibility of a permanent position.
  • The Analyst Back Officer is primarily responsible for the Treasury operations linked to Cash and Bank Account Management. The role reports into the Manager Back Office but supports the Cash and Bank Account management on a global scale given the highly centralized nature of the treasury function. The Analyst Back Officer is, therefore, part of a global/group finance team.

 

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Daily follow up of the Cash Management process, both internally and externally. You give support in order to monitor the Group’s cash
  • Position in all relevant currencies, avoiding at any time idle or inefficient use of cash. Communication with the Front Office Team is herewith
  • Crucial in order to foresee (i) sufficient and (ii) the most appropriate sources of funding for daily liquidity - if required.
  • Perform month-end Treasury reporting & accounting activities (closing)
  • Work in close collaboration with the SSC Treasury team in Lodz (Poland)
  • Assist in the monthly follow up and administration of cash-flow related programs within the Group, such as Asset Based Securitization
  • Program (ABS), Reverse Factoring, etc.
  • Support external reporting requirements (e.g. withholding tax reporting / EMIR)
  • Support projects related to Back Office (e.g. Supply Chain Financing / Fast close)
  • Bank Connectivity management: ensure the connectivity with our external bank partners is efficiently working and monitor all bank
  • Transactions

 

About You

  • Advanced finance degree
  • First experience in financial risk management required
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent command of English as to verbal and written skills
  • Command of MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Knowledge of general accounting rules and IFRS
  • Sound knowledge of SAP and BW
