About the role

- This role can be based in Belgium, France or Poland.
Key responsibilities include
- You will be part of a global digital transformation team rolling out Wonderware MES across 41 sites within the global innovation & technology
department.
- You will be responsible for:
o Technical ownership of the global MES template
o Technical design and development of new functionalities in close collaboration with the functional product owner
o Provide design guidance to project engineers based on your insight in technical capabilities of the tool
o Version management / Devops and rollout of new versions to our factories
o Coordination with our external MES partners to ensure integration, deployment and support is done in accordance with our standard
o Coaching and training of our internal engineers in the usage of the Aveva MES product suite
About you
- You have an academic Master degree with background in Engineering
- You have experience in development of MES applications
- SQL and databases hold little secrets for you
- Experience in the Aveva/Wonderware product suite (System platform, Intouch, MES, Historian, WEI, Work Task Pro) is required
- Experience in Devops / Github is preferred Soft skills
- You have an eagerness to learn and are a creative problem solver
- You have experience in project management and affinity with change management
- You are a results-oriented team player and are able to communicate clearly with business users helping to formulate meaningful functional requirements and translate to technical specifications
- Experience in manufacturing or process industry (food&beverage, pharma, chemical) is a plus.
- You speak English, any other language is optional.
- You are strongly attracted to the cocoa and chocolate industry and you are willing to master the process.
