About the Role
The Area Traceability Officer will be responsible for monitoring all traceability activities at the upcountry level. The candidate will report to and support the Traceability Country Coordinator to achieve full data for all farmers (Mapping and Census) and 100% volume digitalization.
Key Responsibilities

Activity Coordination

Coordinate activities of Warehouse Manager/ Traceability Officers on Traceability

Offer technical backstopping to traceability staff within her/his zone of operation

Analyze traceability data and share results with the team

K-App point of contact in the field

Available to assist field team whenever needed on App issues

Planned visits to assigned districts to supervise activities of Warehouse Manager/ Traceability Officers

Data Verification
-
Ensure farmer list at the society/PC level is up to date and reflected at all levels of aggregation

Ensure each farmer has a passbook with up to date records
-
Ensure volumes delivered by a farmer is recorded in both the PC stock control book and farmer passbook

Verification and confirmation of farmer listing/deliveries with PC

Ensure appropriate entries are made into K-App

Follow policies and confidentiality dictations to safeguard data and information

Data Management

Ensure all active farmers have their farms mapped and census taken

Reporting

Submit weekly/periodic reports on activities to supervisor as agreed with supervisor

Any other tasks assigned by supervisor

About You
-
First degree or Diploma in Statistical or Quantitative analytical background with a minimum 2 years of professional experience in field data collection. Advance study in Data Analytics is an added advantage.

Depth knowledge of traceability in cocoa supply chain.

Depth knowledge of data management and with the ability to manage large data

Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with professionals and individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Self-motivated with good organizational and time management skills with the ability to plan, coordinate and monitor to achieve results.

Good knowledge of Data Collection tools with the ability to use analytical tools like Power BI, Excel and other Microsoft Office suite.

Must be willing to travel in and around rural communities and live a rural community.

Knowledge of Cocoa business is a plus

Fluent in English and able to speak a local language
