About the Role

The Data Analyst will be responsible for verifying and ensuring the quality of the data in the database. He/She will support the traceability country coordinator to achieve full data for all farmers (Mapping and Census) and 100% volume digitalization.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all data, relating to farmers and their volumes in the Master database
  • Maintain the quality of the data in the database (Update, Quality check Correction)
  • Responsible for the overall availability and reliability of the data for internal and public reporting.
  • Responsible for data extraction from the K-App for analysis and decision making
  • Tracking and analyzing the volumes uploaded in the K-App
  • Assist the country traceability coordinator to implement all traceability policies.
  • Data Collection and Processing:
  • Gather, clean, and preprocess data from various sources.
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
  • Use statistical methods and tools to analyze large datasets.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to discover hidden relationships.
  • Create visual representations of data through charts, graphs, and dashboards.
  • Communicate findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Generate regular reports to update stakeholders on key metrics and performance indicators.
  • Work with databases to retrieve and manipulate data as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, IT professionals, and management, to understand data-related requirements.

 

About You

  • First degree or Diploma in Statistical or Quantitative analytical background.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in any role related to the cocoa supply chain will be an added advantage
  • Advance study in Data Analytics is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of analytical/statistical software (Stata, R, advanced Excel, Python)
  • Good knowledge in software programming and App development is an added advantage
  • Experience with GIS software (QGIS, ArcGIS) is a plus
  • Good knowledge in data management and to manage large data with in-depth knowledge of the traceability in our supply chain.
  • Ability to motivate and work under pressure, self-discipline, tactful, reliable and trustworthy
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and lead in order to achieve results
  • Fluent in English and local language is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office application
  • Willing to travel 50% of time to rural areas
