About the role
- This role will be responsible to accelerate the sales growth of our Gourmet brands (Van Houten Professional, Callebaut, Cacao Barry, Carma, Mona Lisa) to BaPa chains & semi-industrials (factories) with a focus on large accounts. Key contributions expected from this role include increasing direct contact with end-users, growing our customer base, driving volume & profitability growth and increasing brand awareness in Thailand.
Key responsibilities include
- To lead the growth of our business by increasing our end-user reach, raising brand awareness & broadening our customer base to achieve our ambitious growth targets in both sales volume & profitability. Identify priority segments/channels with the largest potential for growth and generate lead lists of target clients via thorough market analysis.
- Drive sales volume of Gourmet Brands to Bakery & Pastry (BAPA) and Cash & Carry (Ingredients shops) channels.
- Work with the Regional Marketing team and support local trade marketing teams
- Frequent customer visits (physically or virtually)
- New customer acquisition & growth of existing customer base via upselling & cross-selling of all Gourmet brands to offer a one-stop-shop solution to clients.
- Partner with existing distributors & their sales teams to achieve synergies and accelerate growth.
- Work closely with the Sales Manager on developing aligned country-level strategies for growth
- Assist in the ideation & execution of innovative marketing strategies to increase brand awareness & conversion
- Work closely with our Chocolate Academy Chefs to organize courses, innovation & co-creation sessions for end users and build an intimate knowledge of our customers’ needs.
- Own your KPIs & steer your business independently with the guidance of your manager
About you
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in a business/marketing-related field
- Strong Sales & marketing experience in food service, bakery/pastry products, food ingredients or branded food products
- Experience in chocolate/cocoa is of advantage
- A strong network and reputation in the local Food & Beverage scene – especially BaPa chains & Semi-industrials is essential
- Good understanding or experience in brand marketing is a plus
- Familiarity with SalesForce & SAP is a plus
- Competencies in MS Office especially Excel & PowerPoint a must
- Fluent in English: written & spoken
