As our IT Operations Support for Sweden and Denmark you will play a key role for ensuring the smooth daily operation of the IT department, planning and supervising IT projects, and for maintaining current systems through the provision of preventative and reactive maintenance on all computer resources including hardware, software, data files, application programs, networks, and telecommunications technologies currently in place. You will be responsible for all IT related queries at the user level, for the sites in Kågeröd, Mjölby and Holstebro, ensuring the optimal running of all IT services, among other technical duties. We think our ideal candidate is a newly graduated student from the University or a Higher Vocational Education (YH-utbildning), a fast learner, with 2-5 years experience in an IT Technician role.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deploy and support local IT Infrastructure for the sites in scope : PC´s, printers,(W) LAN, local servers, telephony (fixed, mobile), end-user applications in line with Group IT standards

  • Ensure that the organization’s IT strategy is implemented effectively, consistently and according to established guidelines and budgets.

  • Participate in Corporate IT projects which impact the supervised site(s)  (Ex. WAN, (w)LAN  & VoIP Upgrades / Implementations & Integrations)

  • Ensure professional “daily operations” of the IT infrastructure components, against SLA’s and targeted cost levels and within the agreed procedures and guidelines

  • Manage the local IT Opex and Capex budgets against predefined targets – locally roll-out cost improvement / efficiency projects

  • Manage local vendor relations for locally provided services

  • Direct and support implementation of software and hardware upgrades

  • Take care of the preparation and delivery of IT equipment for new joiners

  • Keep up-to-speed with “best practices”. Be and remain expert in your functional/technical area.

  • Deliver agreed projects according to business expectations respecting BC templates, on-time, within budget and without business disruptions. 

 

REQUIRED ACADEMIC & TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s in computer science/ Information Technology, Higher Vocational Education, or equivalent education

  • 2+  years of experience in related field

  • Willingness to travel on a regular base (±30%). The successful candidate must have a valid driver’s license

  • Service minded approach with a high level of professionalism

  • Capable of working independently, with minimum supervision

  • Hands-on / flexible / solutions-oriented

  • Must be fluent in English and Swedish, both speaking and writing

  • Knowledge with MSOffice Software applications

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in a multinational company

  • Experience in working with Google products and services

  • SAP support and project rollout experience

  • Ability to understand organizational requirements and their impact on the technical aspects of a solution

  • Available to start in March
