Account Manager (m/f/d) Distribution & Artisans
Sales Region: Baden‑Württemberg & Saarland
We are expanding our Sales Team (South) and seeking a passionate and results‑driven Account Manager (m/f/d) to strengthen our Distribution & Artisans business. In this home‑office‑based position, you will cover the regions of Baden‑Württemberg and Saarland, with approximately 70% travel.
You will take full ownership of your commercial results, contribute to growth strategies, drive key projects, and cultivate strong, long‑term customer relationships. The role requires enthusiasm for building internal and external networks, managing diverse stakeholders, and identifying value‑adding solutions for our customers. Strong analytical skills are essential to interpret business KPIs and steer both short‑ and long‑term actions.
Responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities and revenue potential
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies
- Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with existing and new customers
- Sell our products and solutions to strengthen sustainable business partnerships
- Negotiate contracts and commercial terms
- Ensure smooth communication and collaboration between internal teams and customers
- Achieve sales and profitability targets
- Monitor market and competitive trends and define appropriate actions
- Analyze market and competitive landscapes
- Maintain high data quality in Salesforce
Your profile
- Strong commercial acumen and minimum 2 years of sales experience, ideally in the food & beverage industry (“sweet experience” in the bakery & pastry industry experience is a great plus)
- Degree in business administration, marketing, a related field, or completed vocational training in a food‑related craft
- Fluent German and confident English communication
- Strong MS Office skills; SAP and Salesforce.com experience is a significant advantage
- Solid project and stakeholder management capabilities
- Valid driver’s license
