Barry Callebaut Digital (BC Digital) is on a mission to lead the digital revolution in the chocolate industry, and we're looking for a Senior Engineer Collaboration Management to support this transformative journey. Reporting directly to the Head of Endpoint & SW Mgmt., you will support projects by planning, implementing, and enhancing collaboration solutions for the whole collaboration platform including mail, calendar, messaging, document storage/ sharing and other collaboration tools. In addition, you will focus on the monitoring, preservation, and maintenance of the collaboration management infrastructure of Barry Callebaut. You will also plan and implement configuration guidelines to administer our tool suite to support state-of-the art collaboration management.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE

The candidate will:

 

  • Manage, develop, and monitor the collaboration infrastructure, while leveraging industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Be responsible for efficient collaboration solutions incl. management of the collaboration platform for mail, calendar, messaging, voice, document storage, archiving and sharing and other related services (currently Google Workspace, M365 migration planned) and ensure seamless integration in the existing IT infrastructure
  • Provide day-to-day operational collaboration support and maintenance responding to related inquiries
  • Create and deploy new collaboration solutions and/or enhance the efficiency of existing ones
  • Acquire equipment and required software and oversee subcontractors engaged in installation
  • Ensure optimal collaboration performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Document the collaboration infrastructure through standard operation procedures and instructions
  • Supervise and support collaboration projects that have an impact across the organization, and provide knowledge and guidance where required

 

      EDUCATION, LANGUAGE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in IT/technology, computer science, network technology, network security or a comparable field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field
  • Proficient in English
  • Microsoft 365 Certifications, e.g. Teams, SharePoint, PowerApps, or Modern Desktop Administrator are a plus


ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE / TECHNICAL OR FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES

  • Good knowledge with collaboration management solutions, collaboration platforms, configuration management, and troubleshooting, software provision, as well as in SLA-oriented service delivery
  • Good Knowledge with the installation and configuration of collaboration platform for mail, calendar, messaging, voice, document storage, archiving and sharing and other related services (currently Google Workspace)
  • Knowledge of building, configuring, managing and supporting collaboration infrastructure technologies and solutions incl. best practices
  • Understanding of M365 security and compliance features and proficiency in PowerShell scripting for M365 administration
  • Experience with the migration from Google Workspace to M365 is a plus
  • Possesses good problem-solving skills and structured way of working
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, being able to communicate problems to non-technical audiences
  • Openness to try and learn new technologies and skills
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure Monitoring or Observability tools is a plus
  • Good understanding of ITIL processes
