Section 1 - JOB DESCRIPTION

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE

 

The draftsman Center of  Expertise collaborates with project managers, engineers and experts. 

He is in a support position towards the Center of Experts and the Engineering Execution teams for all kind of technical drawings

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Make studies for investment projects. To do this, first measure and draw the existing situation.

  • drawing flow charts (P&ID) and new layouts for various factories in the group.

  • drawing of mechanical constructions.

  • take the initiative to devise possible solutions for these constructions, installations and flow charts and propose these solutions to the project leader

  • contact other departments and suppliers to collect the necessary technical information, request quotes and follow up on orders

  • management of drawings; the available plans and their numbering are up to date.

  • reporting for all these tasks to the project leader for the deliverables and hierarchically to the GBS-lead

 

EDUCATION, LANGUAGE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Master or bachelor degree in industrial mechanical engineering supplemented with first relevant experience.

  • Auto Cad 2D, 3D, Navisworks and/or Inventor have no secrets for you.

  • You can solve problems independently.

  • Must be fluent in English (spoken and written)

  • Other languages are a plus

  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, process industry

  • Thorough knowledge of the BC process and chocolate equipment

  • Background in equipment construction and welding technologies

  • Background in process automation
