 JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Barry Callebaut Digital (BC Digital) is on a mission to lead the digital revolution in the chocolate industry, and we're looking for a Business Analyst in the field of Quality & SHE (Security, Health, Environment), assessing stakeholder requirements for digital solutions. Reporting to the Head of Digital Quality & SHE, you will be the point of contact to advise and support internal customers in formulating and concretizing their requirements and the creation of respective digital solutions. Consequently, your role is integral to optimizing our Quality & SHE processes, ensuring efficiency, and enhancing overall quality performance through data-driven insights and digital solutions.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE

  • Be responsible for analyzing and optimizing Barry Callebaut’s quality and SHE processes
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and solution architects to ensure compliance and enhance operational excellence
  • Leverage their expertise to enhance quality, streamline workflows, and drive efficiency. Create detailed business analysis, ensuring they meet organizational objectives
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders (including conducting interviews, workshops and surveys) aligning needs and capturing requirements for digital solutions that enhance Quality & SHE outcomes
  • Create user stories, use cases, functional specifications and feasibility studies to evaluate proposed changes for new systems or enhancements
  • Work closely with various digital teams, including development teams, to design and deploy solutions that improve Quality & SHE outcomes. Create concepts and technical specifications for downstream implementation as services based on existing IT systems
  • Recommend improvements to business processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Close cooperation with the application management team implementing, maintaining and operating application
  •  Knowledge with IT solution design, feasibility studies, user acceptance testing etc.
  • Knowledge of ERP system SAP QM module
  • Experience with food quality and SHE and selected tools (e.g. SAP EHS, SAP QM, etc.) is a plus
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards related to food safety and quality is a plus
  • Familiarity with business analysis tools and techniques (e.g., BPMN, UML)
  • Familiarity with project methodologies (both waterfall and agile)
  • Independent and self-driven personality, taking responsibility and owning tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret data and draw insights
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to present to diverse audiences
  • Willingness to learn and try new technologies and topics
  • Key stakeholders are located in Europe (Wieze, Lodz), and other locations of our global footprint
  • This is a global role with some travelling involved (up to 20% trave l)
