We are now looking for a Technical Advisor, based in Denmark or Sweden.

 

 

We are currently looking for a driven and ambitious Technical Advisor for our Gourmet business unit with a commercial mindset. The Technical Advisor is responsible for developing specific customer segments together with the sales & marketing team and to inspire customers in growing their business. You will also be the primary contact person on technical customer inquiries and internal team members.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

The Technical Advisor will work as part of the Nordic Gourmet team to develop our market position and to build stronger business relationships with our customers resulting in incremental sales and margin opportunities.

 

You thrive in a coordinating role and act as a team-player. You enjoy to work in cross-functional teams and to build strong customer relationships. You have a driven personality with the ability to take initiatives and to prioritize work tasks with a commercial mindset. You understand the importance of following a clear business strategy and to set key priorities to win against challenging targets.

To fit well in this position you will support the sales team in prospecting clients, identifying opportunities, uncover needs and proactively identify new ideas and marketing strategies, providing innovative solutions to strategic important customers and to support the execution of prioritized business opportunities.

 

This is a field-based role and travel will be required.

 

  • Capable to build excellent customer relationships with both existing and new customers.
  • Master to communicate value propositions based on our products and combined solutions.
  • Generating technical proposals with a commercial outcome together with the sales and marketing team.
  • Master good negotiation skills based on values to deliver innovative business propositions.
  • Capable to handle complex customer enquiries and professional problem solving.
  • Master presentations at events, tradeshows and conferences.

 

 

        REQUIRED ACADEMIC & TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS

 

Professional qualifications 

 

  • Bachelor degree in Food Engineering or professional background as a Pastry chef, Chef or Chocolatier.
  • At least 5 years of experience in either R&D, Marketing or Sales.
  • Strong Segment insight (market, consumer, customer, retail) is a must.
  • Strong professional background with documented results from a similar position.
  • Experiences with Chain/Key Accounts and cross border customer management is an advantage.
  • Must be fluent in Swedish/Danish and English, other European language is an advantage

  • The position reports to the Director Gourmet Nordics
  • Location: Mjölby Sweden/Holstebro Denmark – Home office/Remote work is an option.
  • Travelling for customer visits, workshops and conferences will be necessary
  • You must have a work permit in Sweden/Denmark to apply for this position
  • You must have a valid driver’s license
